Teardrop wheels were stock 14 inch VW wheels which came on many Mk2's and even on Cabriolet's.

As you can see, these teardrops have seen better days. After reading a post on the 'Tex about restoring teardrops, I figured I'd give it a try and see how it would turn out.

The wheels have a plastic like coating, which after time, brake dust and curbage, gets scuffed, yellowed and damaged. The aim here is to remove the coating, wet sand and finally finish polish.
